Dr. Daniel Inouye, MD

Dr. Daniel Inouye is a board-certified psychiatrist with a strong clinical focus on maternal and women's mental health. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School before completing his adult psychiatry residency training at the University of Utah and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). While at UCLA, Dr. Inouye completed specialized training in perinatal psychiatry, equipping him to address the unique mental health challenges women face during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Currently, Dr. Inouye serves as the Medical Director of the Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program at Serenity Recovery and Wellness. In this role, he assists a multidisciplinary clinical team dedicated to treating women with complex, co-occurring perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, perinatal OCD, trauma, and substance use disorders.

In addition to his specialized perinatal work, Dr. Inouye is the Founder and Medical Director of Utah Psychiatric Clinic, LLC, where he maintains an active outpatient practice. He is also deeply committed to medical education, serving as a Clinical Preceptor for the Yale School of Medicine and as Adjunct Faculty for the Utah Valley University Physician Assistant Program.
