Activity Description:

This activity will provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive approach to evaluating and managing patients with vascular conditions. Participants will learn to recognize key symptoms, differentiate between conservative management and surgical intervention, and determine appropriate referral criteria to optimize patient outcomes. Through case-based discussions and evidence-based guidelines, this session aims to enhance clinical decision-making for vascular patient care. 

Target Audience: 

This course is designed for hospitalists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advance practice nurses, registered nurses, allied health professionals, physicians and residents.

Learning Objectives:

• Identify common vascular conditions and their symptoms to recognize patients who may require further vascular evaluation.
• Differentiate between cases that can be managed conservatively and those that require surgical intervention based on clinical presentation and diagnostic findings.
• Determine appropriate referral criteria and timing for patients with vascular etiology to optimize outcomes through timely surgical intervention.
