Activity Description:
The Mountain Ridge Peer Review Committee is a multi-disciplinary committee that reviews referred cases to ensure clinical practice is within standards of care and prevents patient harm through education. The peer review process is a confidential and collegial process that supports safe, high-quality inpatient care and a culture of continuous improvement and lifelong learning. Through our monthly meetings, committee members receive education on a wide array of specialties and patient care scenarios.
Target Audience:
Trauma surgeons, radiology liaison, anesthesia liaison, trauma PAs and trauma nurses
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the latest guidelines and best practices for managing common and complex medical conditions.
- Apply evidence-based practices to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
- Foster a culture of safety and quality improvement.
