Activity Description:

The holiday season brings unique emotional, logistical, and clinical pressures that can amplify burnout among healthcare providers. This session explores evidence-based wellness strategies that enhance individual resilience and supportive team cultures during high-demand seasons. Participants will learn practical interventions that they can implement immediately in both personal and organizational contexts.

Target Audience: 

This course is designed for hospitalists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advance practice nurses, registered nurses, allied health professionals, physicians and residents.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize seasonal triggers that exacerbate burnout and compassion fatigue among healthcare teams.
  • Identify practical micro-interventions that teams can use to promote wellness.
  • Describe evidence-based strategies to maintain personal well-being during the holidays and beyond.
