Activity Description:
The overall educational purpose of Trauma Grand Rounds is to provide a collaborative forum for healthcare professionals to review complex trauma cases, discuss evidence-based practices, and analyze system processes that impact patient outcomes. Through case presentations, multidisciplinary input, and performance improvement discussions, participants gain knowledge that enhances clinical decision-making and fosters consistent, high quality trauma care. The ultimate goal is to strengthen provider competence, improve patient safety, and advance excellence within the trauma system.
Target Audience:
Trauma Surgeons, Radiology Liaisons, Anesthesia Liaisons, Trauma PAs, Trauma Nurses and Trauma PI Staff.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify evidence-based guidelines of trauma patient management
- Apply clinical knowledge to evaluate trauma cases and guide interventions
- Demonstrate effective interdisciplinary communication to improve outcomes.
