Kristofer Charlton-Ouw, MD
Kristofer Charlton-Ouw, MD, is a vascular surgeon at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston, TX. He earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, completed general surgery residency at New York-Presbyterian / Columbia University, and vascular fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He became the Vascular Surgery Program Director and Director of Clinical Research at UTHealth. Since 2020, he is HCA Gulf Coast Division Medical Director of Vascular Surgery and Professor of Clinical Sciences at the University of Houston Tilman J. Fertitta College of Medicine. He is Program Director for the HCA / University of Houston Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program.
Dr. Charlton-Ouw’s clinical and research interests include aortic aneurysm and dissection, prosthetic graft infection, hemodialysis access, peripheral arterial disease, and thoracic outlet disease. He is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and is a national Physician Director at HCA Healthcare. He serves on several national working groups, including Deep Vein Thrombosis, Peripheral Arterial Disease, Aortic, and Carotid Disease.
