Christopher Mahannah, MBA, RRT, RRT-NPS

Chris is a Quality Manager at HCA HealthONE Aurora, Centennial, Mental Health and Wellness and Spalding Rehabilitation with over 15 years of healthcare experience spanning frontline clinical care, leadership, and regulatory oversight. Chris began a career in healthcare as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT, RRT-NPS), serving in high-acuity environments including neonatal and pediatric flight transport, before transitioning into departmental leadership and ultimately healthcare quality.
Having worked at large academic medical centers such as Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Children’s Hospital Colorado, Chris brings a broad systems perspective shaped by both nonprofit academic and for-profit healthcare environments. Over the past four years in quality leadership, Chris has led teams through CDPHE, BHA, CMS, and Joint Commission surveys, translating complex regulatory requirements into sustainable operational processes that improve patient care long after implementation.
Known for a charismatic and team-centered leadership style, Chris believes healthcare functions as a living organism where each role is essential, interconnected, and accountable to the whole. Chris’s passion for healthcare is deeply personal. Growing up with severe asthma and spending much of childhood in hospitals, healthcare professionals became a source of safety during life’s most frightening moments. That experience continues to fuel a commitment to building systems that protect patients, support clinicians, and strengthen organizations from the inside out.
