Dr. Fenton received his medical degree at the Ohio State University and completed internal medicine and pulmonary critical care medicine at the University of Florida Medical Center, Gainesville. He had further  training in Interventional Pulmonary and participated in clinical research at the Lahey clinic in Boston. He has practiced pulmonary and critical care medicine in the Denver area since 1998. He has been involved with the nodule and cancer care program at Swedish Hospital for most of that time. He has served with the Colorado Cancer Coalition on the lung cancer task force and has been particularly interested promoting lung cancer screening. He provides inpatient and outpatient pulmonary consultative services at Swedish Medical Center with CCPC – critical care and pulmonary consultants.
