Beth Martin, MD
Dr Beth Martin is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of the John and Catherine Debs Adult HLH Program at Stanford, at Stanford School of Medicine in the Division of Hematology. A clinical hematologist-oncologist, she was educated at Mt Sinai School of Medicine and trained at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center (Internal Medicine) and University of Rochester (Hematology, Medical Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant). After 4 years on the faculty of the University of Rochester, Division of Medical Oncology, she joined the faculty at Stanford in 2000 and practiced at both Stanford Hospital and VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Due to an increasing number of cases of adult HLH at Stanford, she joined the Stanford faculty full-time in 2014. She practices consultative hematology in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to HLH, her particular areas of interest are histiocytoses, Castleman Disease, thrombotic microangiopathies, autoimmune hematologic disorders related to congenital and acquired immunodeficiencies, LGL disease, and vascular anomalies including HHT. Under the mentorship of Dr Michael Khodadoust, she has a growing experience in T and NK lymphomas.
