I grew up in Saint Joseph, Missouri. I completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Missouri in 2013, and then completed my Doctorate of Nursing Practice, specializing as a pediatric nurse practitioner, in May of 2019. I worked on a pediatric med surge floor at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City for two years before moving to Colorado in 2015. I worked as a nurse and then charge nurse at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children in the pediatric peri-operative department for four years. I have had experiences in a wide variety of pediatric specific clinical rotations during her doctoral program, including pediatric primary care, pediatric ENT, pediatric gynecology, pediatric pulmonology and many more.
