Dr. Jennifer Zank has been a neonatologist at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children for almost 5 years. Currently, she is the NICU Level IV Medical Director. Dr. Zank has a special interest in quality improvement and has led efforts in integrating less invasive administration of surfactant, safe postoperative hand off amongst teams, and working on reducing the incidence of surgical retinopathy of prematurity.  Dr. Zank attended Georgetown University for her undergraduate degree and attended Loyola University of Chicago for medical school. After completing her residency and chief residency at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor she went further east to the University of Pittsburgh for her neonatology fellowship and spent a few years after fellowship as an Assistant Professor. While at the University of Pittsburgh she also received her Master of Health Administration. She is currently boarded in both pediatrics and neonatology through the American Board of Pediatrics.
