Lauren Young is a Nurse Practitioner who has specialized in sepsis care since 2019. She began her nursing career in 2011 and has experience in geriatric care and critical care. She started her NP career in the ICU/ pulmonary medicine realm before moving to specialize in sepsis care. She joined HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in 2019 and thrives on improving patient care via direct care, coordination with providers and nursing staff, and continuing to enhance the sepsis related educational needs of other healthcare workers. Lauren and her husband are raising a wonderful family consisting of four daughters and a son and are enjoying watching and experiencing their children's different personalities! They enjoy traveling and spending quality time together.
