Dr. Barkley is a pediatric and vascular neurologist.  She completed her medical training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.  She completed her pediatric neurology training at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO and completed her fellowship training in vascular neurology at University of Kansas.   She has research in both pediatric and adult stroke and is interested in stroke in the young.  She is works as clinical assistant professor at the University of Kansas.
