Andrew Behunin, MD is a cardiologist in Salt Lake City, Utah specializing in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and interventional echocardiography.

Dr. Behunin is widely known for his patient-centered, consultative approach to medicine. Since a young age, he felt inspired to create positive change in people’s lives, which inevitably led him to a vocation in the medical field. He graduated from Brigham Young University with his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 2006. He attended A.T. Still University in Missouri where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon completion, he went to the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics for his internal medicine residency and his cardiology fellowship.

With each and every one of his patients, Dr. Behunin harnesses the power of listening in his practice. To him, listening always takes precedence. And as Sir William Osler once said, "Listen to your patient, he is telling you the diagnosis."

In his spare time, Dr. Behunin enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, working out, and traveling around the world.
