Tyler Wilko, MBA
Tyler Wilko is the Vice President for the HCA Mountain Division CV Service Line and has been with the organization since September of 2019. He received a BA in Accounting in 1995 and an MBA in 1998 from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business.
His first role in healthcare was with HCA as a Decision Support Analyst working for the Utah Market team. Following his departure from HCA he joined a private practice known as the Heart and Lung Insititute of Utah, Inc., first as their CFO and then as their COO. In December 2010, the Heart and Lung Insitute was acquired by Centura (formerly IASIS Healthcare and formerly Steward Healthcare) and Mr. Wilko continued in his role as Chief Operations Officer. In 2014 he was promoted to be the CEO (retitled Executive Director following Steward acquisition in 2017) of the Utah Market Physician Group for IASIS Healthcare and served in that role until September of 2019 when he returned to HCA Healthcare to oversee key strategic service lines for the HCA Mountain Division. He currently coordinates Cardiac and Vascular, Pulmonary and Thoracic and Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine.
His personal interests include time and travel fun with his wife, six children (two who are married), and a granddaughter and grandson.. He enjoys time up the canyon or at the lake kayaking, paddle boarding and riding the wave runners. He also enjoys road biking, running, golfing with friends and family, and listening to audio books.
