Activity Description:

Neuroendocrine cancer/tumors are a rare cancer accounting for less than 1% of all malignant disorders and diagnosis and treatment is challenging for the medical community. This international case conference to present complex cases of neuroendocrine tumors. Explore and review new diagnostic techniques and discuss the epidemiology and treatment options. 

Target Audience:

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of surgeon, oncologist, gastroenterologist, and advanced practice providers that are involved in the care of patients with neuroendocrine tumors.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Explain advances in treatment options. 
2. Adapt practice to recognize and diagnose neuroendocrine tumors. 
3. Identify the epidemiology and presentation of neuroendocrine tumors.
