I was raised on Long Island and attended the University of Miami where I was awarded a BS in Biology before moving to Washington, DC to enroll at Georgetown University and completed a Masters Degree in Physiology & Biophysics. I then attended Medical school at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY before moving back to DC for my internship and residency at Georgetown University Hospital. I briefly worked as a hospitalist at the Miami VA hospital before moving to Charleston to complete a Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowships at the Medical University of South Carolina. in 2012 I became the founding physician of Charleston Heart Specialists and developed the Electrophysiology Program at Trident Medical Center and remain the current medical director of electrophysiology.
