Tracy Lauzon, RN BSN MSN
A registered nurse with thirty-four years of nursing experience, and for the past 17 years has been part of the trauma program at The Medical Center of Aurora. In 2015, I established Level IV trauma programs at Saddle Rock and Centennial free-standing emergency departments. Saddle Rock closed in 2019, and Centennial became a hospital in March of 2021. Centennial Hospital remains a Level IV traum program.
In 2006, I became a state nurse reviewer for trauma designation, and in 2015, I became a reviewer for the American College of Surgeons Verification Committee. In addition, I have supported and mentored several trauma programs within HealthONE and in other facilities not associated with HealthONE.
I spend the first sixteen years of my nursing career working Labor and delivery, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency department, Home Health, and Hospice. I am from Canada originally and immigrated to the United States in 1992 and became a citizen in 1999.
