Ashley Cundiff, MSN, RN, NE-BC, CCRN, TCRN

Ashley Cundiff serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at TriCities Hospital. Ashley joined Chippenham in May 2008 where she started out as a Nurse Tech on med surg while still pursuing her nursing degree at East Carolina University.
Ashley started her nursing career with HCA in 2009 as a nurse resident in the Medical Surgical ICU and then progressed to clinical coordinator of the ICU in 2015. In 2017, she was promoted to be the Director for Medical Surgical Trauma ICU. In 2018, she built the Trauma Stepdown Unit and directed these teams on the path to obtaining their state Level 1 Trauma Designation. Ashley became the ACNO of Chippenham Hospital in 2022 and transitioned to Johnston Willis in 2023 before moving into her current CNO role at TriCities.
Whether at the bedside or serving in her leadership roles, Ashley’s passion for her staff, patients, and community is noteworthy. She is proud of the growth she has seen in her teams and the relentless pursuit to working at the top of one’s license. Her involvement and passion for innovation and technology has landed her some unique opportunities within HCA Healthcare.
Ashley received her BSN from East Carolina University and her MSN from Western Governors University. She is board certified as a: Critical Care Certified Registered Nurse (CCRN), Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN), and Nurse Executive Board Certified (NE-BC).
