At the Prostate Cancer Institute of America, cancer treatment specialist Ajay Bhatnagar, MD, provides high-quality prostate cancer care to men in Arizona and now expanding nationally.

 Dr. Bhatnagar was born in London but spent most of his childhood in Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, graduating magna cum laude.

Dr. Bhatnagar obtained his medical degree and master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Pittsburgh. Before entering private practice, he completed postgraduate medical training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr.  Bhatnagar is the founder of Prostate Cancer Institute of America (founded in 2022) which is the only practice of its kind exclusively focusing on Low Dose Rate (LDR) brachytherapy for men with localized prostate cancer. In 2023, Dr. Bhatnagar was selected as an honored member of the Nationwide Registries Top Doctors of America Honors Edition. In 2024, Dr. Bhatnagar received the prestigious Phoenix Magazine Top Doc Award. While Dr. Bhatnagar is based in Phoenix, Arizona, he comes to Colorado to provider LDR Brachytherapy services to the Denver region performing the procedure at Sky Ridge Medical Center.
