Jesse C. Onyenekwe, MD is a board-certified Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician based in Houston, Texas, with extensive experience in advanced bronchoscopy and high risk medical and surgical ICU patients. He is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Onyenekwe currently practices critical care and pulmonary medicine at North Cypress medical center. His clinical expertise includes advanced airway management, invasive bedside procedures, interventional pulmonology, and management of severe respiratory failure, including VV and VA ECMO coordination and post-ECMO care.

Dr. Onyenekwe completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit after completing his internal medicine residency at the University of Florida–Jacksonville. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from Ross University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Prairie View A&M University.
