Dr. Moore is the Arilla Spence DeVault Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Indiana University and he serves as the Medical Director for Cancer Services in the Indianapolis Suburban Hospitals for IU Health.

He is active clinically in both head and neck ablative and reconstructive surgery.  He has a particular interest in the management of advanced and recurrent head and neck malignancies, including those involving the anterior skull base and those in need of reconstruction using microvascular free tissue transfer. 

Dr. Moore a member of the American Head and Neck Society, currently serving as the Vice-Chair of the Education Division.  He also is the President of the Board of the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance and works with others in this organization and nationally to develop numerous education and support resources for patients, caregivers and survivors.
