Dr. Bethany Slater earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Columbia College in New York. She completed medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and then General Surgery Residency at Stanford School of Medicine. She went on to complete her Pediatric Surgery Fellowship at Baylor (Texas Children’s Hospital). Finally, Dr. Slater obtained an MBA from the Booth School of Business. Dr. Slater is currently a pediatric surgeon and the division chief at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. Her clinical focus is on minimally invasive surgery, congenital anomalies, foregut surgery, and thoracic diseases. She is interested in innovation and medical device advance. Dr. Slater enjoys running, tennis, skiing, and traveling.
