Arnaud Bonnard, MD, PhD

Currently a professor in pediatric surgery at Robert Debré Children's University Hospital and Chief of the Pediatric Surgery department in Paris, France. His mains interests of work are minimally invasive surgery, neonatal surgery, and thoracic surgery with a special focus on congenital malformation. He’s involved in many teaching courses on behalf of the EUPSA educational office board and other societies such as ESPES, the French pediatric surgery society, and so on. He has been involved in the EUPSA society as treasurer for 6 years. He is the course director of IRCAD Mini invasive and robotic pediatric surgery programs, and he is also the program director for pediatric surgery residency in Paris. As a professor, he’s still doing basic research on a mouse model of NEC, testing the effect of CO2 insufflation on the intestinal lesion and on cerebral-induced lesions. He loves sports and CrossFit, allowing him to push his limits and speed on the track with his motorcycle
