Alexander Bondoc, MD, is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he is also the Surgical Director of the Liver, Kidney, and Intestinal Transplant Programs as well as the Living Donor Program. He specializes in abdominal transplant surgery, hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery, as well as pediatric dialysis access and vascular surgery. 

Dr. Bondoc’s research endeavor investigates the molecular mechanisms of hepatoblastoma pathogenesis as well as the tumor cell subtypes and their roles and interactions. Clinically, Dr. Bondoc is interested in the use of indocyanine green as an adjunct to improve visualization in pediatric HPB, vascular surgery, and laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
