I am a dual trained Pediatric and Abdominal Transplant Surgeon practicing at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. In addition to Liver, Small Intestine, and Kidney Transplant, I have a practice centered on pediatric hepatopancreaticobiliary disease, surgical oncology, and complex vascular surgery. My partners and I employ minimally invasive techniques for donor nephrectomy and biliary surgery and hope to adapt robotic techniques to these operations as well as others. My lab research focuses on the molecular mechanisms driving the pathologic transformation of hepatic precursor cells into hepatoblastoma, the most common primary liver malignancy of childhood.
