HCAHealthONE Rose OB Trauma Drill
This in-person trauma drill will showcase a scenario of the pregnant patient > 20 weeks gestation arriving to the ED via private vehicle. The purpose of this OB Trauma Drill is to evaluate and improve the multidisciplinary response to a pregnant trauma patient, focusing on maternal and fetal stabilization, communication, and decision-making. A new guideline was recently developed for the Pregnant Trauma Patient in December 2024. This drill will focus on improving communication between the ED, Labor and Delivery, and NICU when caring for the pregnant trauma patient. This in-person drill will attempt to further refine our care of these patients.
Target Audience
This OB Trauma Drill is specific for HCAHealthONE Rose Emergency Medicine Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, OB/GYN Attendings, OB/GYN Residents, Labor & Delivery Nurses, Emergency Charge Nurses, Emergency Nurses, Emergency Techs, Neonatal Team, Trauma Activation Response (lab, radiology, etc.)
