Elise Austin is a licensed and ABGC board-certified genetic counselor who specializes in inherited cancer genetics. She sees patients St. Mark’s Hospital. She provides patient consultations to assess cancer risks, determine the likelihood of hereditary factors, coordinate genetic testing, and provide guidelines-based screening recommendations.

She earned her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of Oklahoma and Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University. Elise has over 15 years of experience in the clinical, public health, and diagnostic laboratory settings. Elise is passionate about increasing patient access to genetic services. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, good food, and traveling.
