Reena Isaac, MD

Reena Isaac is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and a physician on the Public Health Pediatrics Section of Texas Children's Hospital. She completed her pediatric residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, and a Forensic Pediatrics Fellowship at Brown Medical Center. She is the medical director of the Texas Children's Hospital's Forensic Nurse Program and medical director of the Harris County Children's Assessment Center's medical clinic, an international model for child advocacy centers. In 2014, She addressed the United States Congress Homeland Security Field Hearing, "Combatting Human Trafficking in Our Major Cities." She worked with Houston stakeholders and Governor Abbott's Strategic Planning Team to develop a citywide collaborative preventative and restorative network for recovered victims of trafficking, which officially launched in 2018. She is a medical representative for Houston's Child Trafficking Advisory Council.
