Dr. Alcides Amador is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine and is the Psychiatry Clerkship Director as well. He is also the Medical Director of the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine Program at UTRGV School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship training in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
