An international plastic surgeon who began his career in Bangladesh, Dr. Zaheed Hassan has dedicated more than 28 years of compassionate care to burn patients throughout the United States and Bangladesh.

After earning a medical degree from the Institute of Post Graduate Medicine and Research in Bangladesh, Dr. Hassan moved to the United States to complete his surgical residency at NYU Medical Center, followed by a burn fellowship and an acute and reconstructive burn surgery residency at the Kansas University Medical Center. He currently serves as the President of Joseph M. Still Burn Centers, Inc., and Chairman of the Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America.
