Jennifer Sharp, DO is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon.  She provides a full range of orthopedic trauma services with special interest in complex fractures, nonunions/malunions and infections.

Dr. Sharp received her Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and biomedical engineering from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY and later completed a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN.  Before pursuing medicine, she worked for Lockheed Martin and Neva Ridge Technologies. Dr. Sharp then completed her medical degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, MO, followed by orthopedic surgery training at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Corvallis, OR and a trauma fellowship in Sacramento, CA with the Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons of Northern California. 

After serving the greater Sacramento area, Dr. Sharp has returned to the Rocky Mountain Region to be closer to family and friends. She is dedicated to helping patients return to their pre-injury level of function and maintain an active lifestyle. Dr. Sharp is an active member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and her work has been published in journals such as Orthopedics, Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics, and AAOS Now. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, skiing and spending time with her family.
