Indira Vadlamani, Indira U. Vadlamani MD. CPE. FCAP

Dr. Vadlamani attended Kakatiya medical college in Hyderabad India and completed her residency training at Saint-Louis University in Pathology. She continued on to complete selective surgical pathology fellowship at Washington University. She then accepted a job with a privately owned pathology company based out of Kansas City, Kansas, from which she most recently hails (Go Chiefs!) where she primarily practiced Breast (certified in multidisciplinary breast pathology advanced pathology program by CAP in 2011) and Gynecologic Pathology. Dr. Vadlamani was the first colored woman to serve as the medical staff president at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, and has been a medical laboratory/ medical director for various hospital campuses for over a decade. She recently graduated Certified Physician Executive credential from the American Association of Physician Leadership. Dr. Vadlamani moved to Houston, TX in November of 2021 and has taken on the mantle of being a proud Houstonian to provide care and serve at the Woman's Hospital of Texas, in the Texas Medical Center. She recently was honored amongst the Women in the Fast Lane of STEAM in 2024.
Through her decades of practice, Dr. Vadlamani is as much a logistician as she is an empath. She enjoys collaborating with physicians of all specialties and is passionate about her field.
