Activity Description:

This educational activity will be led by Dr. Michael DiMaria, MD a Pediatric Cardiologist to enhance team knowledge and strengthen pediatric case review skills. This series will focus on pediatric pathology recognition and interpretation of pediatric cardiac cases. Attendees will gain skills in pediatric pathology focusing on key disease processes. This activity aims to support correlative pathology learning with multimodality to increase knowledge of pathology and repairs.

Target Audience: 

Physicians, Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Nurses, Registered Nurses, Echocardiographers

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

  • Understand basic anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to recognize complex structural abnormalities
  • Collaborate effectively with physician partners to support proper imaging
