Melissa Schilling, MSN, RN, CEN, is the Trauma Program Director at Medical City Arlington, a busy Level II Trauma Center in Texas. An Army brat who lived around the world, she primarily grew up in Massachusetts, She earned degrees in Psychology from UMass Amherst, Nursing from Fitchburg State University, and a master's degree in Nursing at University of Texas, Arlington. After moving to Texas, she built a diverse career as an emergency nurse, educator, director, and now trauma leader. She also has  been honored as a great 100 nurse. Melissa is passionate about improving TQIP outcomes through performance improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three children and four-year-old  grandson and traveling with her fiancé.
