HCA Capital Division
VP of Trauma / Burn Service Lines

Dallas became the VP of Trauma Services for HCA Capital Division in July of 2021.  Currently he oversees 8 trauma programs, and 1 burn program across the states of Virginia and New Hampshire.  Dallas has been in the Virginia Trauma System since 2007, when he took on the role of Trauma Program Manager of a Level III Trauma Center.  While in the Virginia Trauma System, he has had the pleasure of gaining the experience of working at Level I, II, and III designated trauma centers.  He has sat on state trauma committees, served as a state trauma reviewer, and had the exposure of partaking in both state and ACS trauma reviews.

Dallas completed his undergraduate degree at Radford University, followed by a master’s degree in Nursing Administration at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2014.  He has partaken in multiple professional organizations to include being a member of EAST, STN, and becoming the Virginia Emergency Nurses Association President in 2015.   Dallas has been married to his wife Karen Taylor for 27 years, and we have two children, Peyton age 20 and Isaac age 17.
