Donna Lemoine is the Assistant Vice President of Trauma Services at HCA Healthcare, where she oversees trauma operations across seven divisions and 65 of the organization’s 109 trauma centers. With more than 30 years of clinical and administrative experience in prehospital and acute care settings, Donna is a visionary leader recognized for driving clinical excellence, expanding service lines, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Her leadership has been instrumental in guiding over 60 successful regulatory reviews, including more than 57 trauma center verifications achieved with zero deficiencies in recent years. Donna played a key role in establishing Louisiana’s first Level II trauma center and has collaborated extensively with trauma surgeons and clinical advisory teams to develop evidence-based practice management guidelines.

She has also supported enterprise-wide initiatives such as:

• Centralized trauma data registry abstraction
• Implementation of an enterprise trauma registry system
• Development of a trauma performance improvement workflow module
• Creation of an enterprise electronic trauma flowsheet

Donna’s commitment to trauma quality is further reflected in her contributions to injury prevention research, including a published study in the Journal of Trauma Nursing.

She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Donna’s unwavering dedication to trauma care, regulatory excellence, and system-wide performance improvement continues to shape the future of trauma services at HCA Healthcare.
