Suraj Sunder, MD, MPH

Dr. Suraj Sunder is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician with more than 15 years of experience in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care. He provides comprehensive outpatient pulmonary care while also serving as an intensivist, caring for critically ill patients in the hospital setting.
Dr. Sunder earned his medical degree from Texas A&M University. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis.
His greatest clinical passion is the care of patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH). As the Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program at Critical Care and Pulmonary Consultants (CCPC), he is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, personalized care to patients living with this complex condition.
Dr. Sunder believes that exceptional healthcare begins with patient education. He is committed to empowering patients with a clear understanding of their diagnosis and treatment options through compassionate care and straightforward, meaningful communication. He partners closely with patients and their families to ensure they are informed, confident, and actively involved in every step of their care.
He is an active member of the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA), staying at the forefront of advances in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
