Akhil Reddy, MD is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist with four board certifications and a special interest in structural heart procedures, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and mitral valve repair. Dr. Reddy is skilled in performing these advanced, minimally invasive procedures and is committed to ensuring that his patients thoroughly understand their conditions and treatment options.

Dr. Reddy earned his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada and completed his residency at the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership in Athens, GA. He furthered his specialization with a cardiology fellowship at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO, followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, and a structural heart fellowship at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. He is board-certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and cardiovascular disease, and holds a subspecialty certification in interventional cardiology.
