I'm originally from western Pennsylvania and in true Pennsylvania form I graduated with a Bachelors in Health Planning and Administration from Penn State in 1988. After PSU I attended Rush University where I attained my Master’s degree in Health Systems Management. I rounded out my formal training with a post-graduate fellowship position with Guthrie Healthcare System in northern Pennsylvania. After completing my fellowship I moved west with my future husband and spent nine years working for Hospital Shared Services in Denver. We spent ten years in Missoula MT where I worked in both a private practice setting and in an integrated delivery system. In the private practice I was managing a multi-specialty neuroscience group. Within the integrated delivery system I held several roles and had responsibilities ranging from operational oversight for 8 clinics to quality, risk management and compliance. Currently, we reside in Laramie WY where I spent nine years managing a women's/children's clinic. In 2019 I joined HealthONE out of Denver as their Director of Provider Relations in Wyoming.
