Andrew Nemechek
Andrew J. Nemechek, MD, FACS is fellowship trained in advanced head and neck oncologic surgery and is board certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. His clinical interests include the treatment of tumors involving the oral cavity and throat structures (laynx and pharynx), thyroid and parathyroid glands, salivary organs, and HPV-related malignancies. Dr. Nemechek also treats patients with advanced cutaneous malignancies, including malignant melanoma. He has a strong interest in designing healthcare delivery models and shaping system-wide policies vital to improving healthcare delivery across at-risk populations.
Dr. Nemechek graduated with his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, where he also completed training in general surgery and otolaryngology. He completed a combined research and clinical fellowship in advanced head and neck oncologic surgery at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Nemechek has also completed his Master of Science degree in healthcare delivery at the Tuck School of Business and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.
