Dr. Andrew Kennedy, is Physician in Chief of Radiation Oncology for Sarah Cannon, and Director, Radiation Oncology Research for Sarah Cannon Research Institute, in Nashville TN, USA.  He is also an adjunct associate professor of Departments of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. He is an internationally recognized radiation oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal cancers, but also is very active in treating head and neck, CNS, breast and lung tumors in adults and pediatric patients. He has delivered hundreds of presentations on radiation therapy worldwide and was instrumental in reintroducing liver brachytherapy via Yttrium-90 microspheres into the USA in August 2000.
