Azeem Kaka, MD
Azeem S. Kaka, MD, is assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Emory University School of Medicine. A board certified otolaryngologist, Dr. Kaka's clinical and surgical expertise is in head and neck oncology, functional and cosmetic microvascular reconstruction, minimally-invasive robotic surgery, salivary gland (parotid) tumors, carotid body tumors, paragangliomas and other benign or malignant tumors of the head and neck. He has particular interests in appropriately selecting patients for TORS (Transoral Robotic Surgery) and de-escalating adjuvant therapy when possible. He also has developed techniques to decrease morbidity for patients with advanced salivary gland malignancies through novel reconstructive techniques.
Dr. Kaka holds professional memberships with American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and American Head and Neck Society.
