With 16 years of experience as a Trauma Medical Director, Kaysie Banton joined the Swedish Medical Center team 6 years ago leading a top quality team of Trauma/Critical Care Surgeons.  She has more than 20 years of experience as an Emergency General Surgeon, Trauma and Critical Care Surgeon coming to Swedish after nearly two decades at the University of Minnesota.  Her background includes fellowship training in Surgical Infectious Disease, Surgical Critical Care and a Masters in Healthcare Administration.  Her passion is to improve trauma outcomes by solidifying the relationships with outlying communities, education and relating both basic science and clinical research performed at Swedish Medical Center to all patients in the region.
