EMS career started in Abilene, KS 2001. Experience in small, mid-size, and urban systems in the states of KS, WY, NM, and CO. Ground experience includes hospital-based, county, and private 911 systems. Flight experience includes both helicopter and airplanes. Formal teaching experience began in 2011 for the University of New Mexico EMS Academy. From 2012 to 2016 worked full-time for HealthONE EMS in Denver as both an instructor and EMS manager for HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge. In late 2016 returned to the field as a flight paramedic for HCA HealthONE AirLife and currently holds a dual role as a flight team member and outreach instructor/coordinator.
