Activity Description:

The Hematology Conference offers an opportunity to focus on patient cases and align on treatment strategies across disciplines for ideal patient care and/or the review of treatment strategies based on outcomes. Based on the discussion around treatment strategies, new medical knowledge will ideally be addressed and application per patient case evaluated. During each session in this series, attendees will participate in a multidisciplinary team discussion of both prospective and follow-up case presentations.

Learning Objective:

At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

  • Improve patient process, performance status in order to influence improved quality outcomes.
  • Knowledge of various treatments and procedures for patient care
  • Communicate the importance of a multidisciplinary approach and improve the collaborative performance of the inter-professional care team in the management of patients
