Dr. John van Doorninck is a pediatric oncologist practicing at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children in Denver, Colorado, USA.  A native of Denver, he studied medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed his training in pediatric hematology/oncology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. There, he served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Bone Marrow Transplantation prior to accepting his current position at Rocky Mountain Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (RMPHO).  In addition to serving patients at RMPHO, he is engaged in pediatric cancer outreach regionally by serving as Co-Chair of the Wyoming Cancer Coalition, and internationally, by serving as chair of the Global Programs Committee for World Child Cancer (www.worldchildcancer.org)
