Jeff Wilson has been a paramedic for over 15 years. Jeff created an autism program in 2022 with the state EMS office, and named it after his son John. The John Wilson Autism program has taught over 50 lessons, and delivered around 1,000 kits across Utah. The communication cards that the autism kit provides have been used and distributed across the country. Australia also has received these communication cards and is currently using them. Jeff and John have received two awards in 2024. The EMSC Advocate of the Year Award provided by the Department of Health, and The Spirit of Service Award from Governor Cox.
