Activity Description:

Pediatric Neuroradiology series focuses on neuroimaging of pediatric patients. Review scans to compare the differences of pediatric age group versus adults. Assessing on how scans change with age and discuss advanced imaging techniques. Provide performance and interpretation of diagnostic neuroradiology imaging studies that pertain to fetuses, infants, children and adolescents.

Learning Objective:

At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

• To become familiar with the peculiar features of neuroimaging studies in the pediatric age group as compared with adults
• To discover how to report MRI and CT studies performed in children with a broad range of neurological disorders
• To learn how the normal appearance of the infant’s brain changes with age
• To displayable to recognize normal and abnormal neuroimaging features, and to avoid pitfalls
