Activity Description:
The series will provide an intensive, practical focus on evidence-based approaches to complex everyday problems that span the realm of clinical care with emphasis on recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment strategies needed to improve performance within the echocardiogram hospital setting. In addition to correlate findings with other modality's to advance the imaging knowledge and abilities. An interactive format will include a didactic presentation with case reviews, introducing new imaging protocols, and question and answer panel discussions. Clinical case correlations will be discussed during the presentations.

Hospitalists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Advance Practice Nurses, Registered Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Physicians and Residents
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:
- Identify diagnostic bias and appropriate de-biasing strategy.
- Review contributing causes of diagnostic and management errors and propose strategies for improving patient safety.
- Discuss recommendations for system changes that improve patient care.
- New ASE guidelines and discussions on upcoming processes.
