Stephanie Morris, MD FACS, is a trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care physician at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress, where she serves as the Trauma Medical Director. She completed general surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and later completed a Surgical Critical Care fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Morris earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University. Her clinical interests include complex trauma resuscitation, management of the critically injured patient, and performance improvement across the continuum of trauma care. In her role as Trauma Medical Director, she is actively engaged in driving multidisciplinary quality, safety and overall improvement initiatives through the trauma M&M process.
